Update 2 - Mandatory Reporting of Occasional Self-Employment

Subject: Transition period for compliance with the new procedure for prior notification of the establishment of occasional self-employed collaboration pursuant to Law No. 215 of December 17, 2021

The National Labor Inspectorate announces that, until April 30, 2022, it will still be possible to submit advance notice of the establishment of an occasional self-employment relationship via email, in accordance with the procedures outlined in Notice No. 29/2022.

Effective May 1, 2022, the only valid channel for fulfilling this obligation will be exclusively the electronic channel provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies; consequently, communications sent via email directly to the offices of the Regional Labor Inspectorates will not be considered valid (and will therefore be subject to penalties).
