Automatic Enrollment, Company Information Notice, and Provisional Form for Severance Pay

Dear Customer, please be advised that specific FAQs are available on the Ministry of Labor’s website FAQs dedicated to automatic enrollment in supplemental pension plans and the allocation of severance pay.
To assist pension funds and employers, MEFOP has developed a sample disclosure form, which employers are required to provide to employees hired on or after July 1, 2026, as well as a provisional form to be used for selecting the allocation of the Severance Pay.
These forms may be used starting July 1, 2026, pending the issuance of the Interministerial Decree, which will include the new official form as an attachment.
Please note that as of July 1, 2026, enrollment in a supplemental pension plan will become automatic (through the “opt-out” mechanism), but not for everyone. The Covip guidelines issued on June 19 specify exactly who is covered by this new automatic enrollment process.
