Vademecum on maximum penalties for undeclared work – INL Note n. 856/2022

The National Labour Inspectorate, in note no. 856 of April 19, 2022, has prepared an updated handbook on the application of sanctions regarding undeclared work, highlighting the scope of application, amounts, sanctions, cases of exclusion, the formal notice to regularize, and certain cases of illicit work.


The handbook provides clarifications, among other things, regarding:

  • a) Services rendered through the family booklet;

  • b) Occasional collaborations pursuant to art. 2222 of the Italian Civil Code;

  • c) Continuation of fixed-term contract;

  • d) Occasional service contract pursuant to art. 54-bis of Law Decree 50/2017;

  • e) Contract, secondment, supply;

  • f) Traineeship.

Attached is the full document, to which reference is made for an overview.
