Welfare 2022: Companies that apply the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Small-Scale Metalworking Industries - Confapi

Starting in 2022, companies must provide all employees with welfare benefits—examples of which are listed at the end of this article—worth 200 euros, to be used by December 31, 2022. Please note that the company must actually make these welfare benefits available to employees starting in February, so that employees can use them by December 31, 2022.

The above amounts are all-inclusive and are expressly excluded from the calculation basis for severance pay. Employees who have completed their probationary period and are employed as of January 1 of each year, or who are hired subsequently by December 31 of each year, are entitled to the above:

  • with a permanent contract;

  • with a fixed-term contract who have accumulated at least three months of service, even if not consecutive, during each calendar year (January 1–December 31).
