INPS technical provisions on wage supplementation treatments.

Subject: INPS Technical Provisions on Wage Supplement TreatmentNews InpsNews of July 10, 2020, No. 84)


The Inps through circular explained the changes introduced by the latest decrees-laws, No. 34/2020 and No. 52/2020, retracing the entire and current discipline of wage supplement treatments related to the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 and providing instructions on the proper handling of applications.


The following is a summary of what is contained within the Inps News in question. Regarding the details of the regulatory provisions, please refer to the News already forwarded by the Firm at the time of the entry into force of the aforementioned decrees.


ORDINARY WAGE SUPPLEMENT TREATMENT AND ORDINARY ALLOWANCE FOR THE CAUSE "COVID-19"


The period of ordinary wage supplementation treatment (CIGO) and ordinary allowance (FIS) claimable by employers, who had to stop or reduce production activity due to events attributable to the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19 is as follows:


9 weeks + 5 weeks (=14 weeks) For periods beginning February 23, 2020 to August 31, 2020
