On March 30, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, together with ABI and social partners, signed an agreement defining a procedure for banks to advance wage supplementation payments.
Advance payments are granted to employees of employers who, even pending the issuance of measures authorizing wage supplementation for the Covid-19 emergency, have suspended them from work with zero hours and have applied for direct payment from INPS. requested direct payment from INPS of wage supplementation in favor of workers entitled to such income support measures.
The advance payment of the allowance must be requested by the worker from one of the banks that apply it, accompanied by the relevant documentation as indicated in the the to the ABI Agreement, as well as in accordance with the procedures in use at the Bank concerned.
