Prime Ministerial Decree of March 9, 2020, containing Further implementing provisions of Decree-Law no. 6 of February 23, 2020, concerning urgent measures for the containment and management of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, applicable throughout the national territory.

Below is an interpretation of the new provisions, outlining the main regulations and their potential impacts on regular business operations.

Article 1 outlines the urgent measures for containment and combating contagion, effective from March 8, 2020, until April 3, 2020, applicable to:

• the Lombardy Region;

• the Special Statute Regions and the Provinces of Trento and Bolzano, in accordance with their respective statutes and implementing regulations;

• and the Provinces of Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio nell'Emilia, Rimini, Pesaro e Urbino, Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Vercelli, Padova, Treviso, Venezia.

With the Prime Ministerial Decree of March 9, 2020, the measures initially established for these territories were extended to the entire national territory.
