Further urgent measures for containing and managing the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19

Subject: Prime Ministerial Decree of March 8, 2020, containing further implementing provisions of Decree-Law No. 6 of February 23, 2020, containing urgent measures regarding containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19

and

Prime Ministerial Decree of March 9, 2020, containing further implementing provisions of Decree-Law No. 6 of February 23, 2020, containing urgent measures regarding containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19, applicable throughout the entire national territory.

Below is an interpretation of the new provisions, which outlines the main regulations with potential impacts on regular company operations.

Article 1 indicates the urgent measures for containing and combating the infection, in force from March 8, 2020, until April 3, 2020, applicable:

• in the Lombardy Region;

• in the Regions with special statutes and the Provinces of Trento and Bolzano, compatibly with their respective statutes and related implementing regulations;

• and in the Provinces of Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio nell'Emilia, Rimini, Pesaro e Urbino, Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Vercelli, Padova, Treviso, Venice.

With the Prime Ministerial Decree of March 9, 2020, the measures initially planned for these territories have been extended to the entire national territory.
