Subject: New event codes and adjustment codes for the correct reporting in Uniemens data flows of mandatory paternity leave and parental leave events pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 105/2022



With Message No. 659/2023, INPS introduces, in addition to those already in effect, new event codes and adjustment codes for the correct reporting of mandatory paternity leave and parental leave in the Uniemens data files (as amended by Legislative Decree No. 105/2022).

In the message just mentioned, the Institute provides instructions for reporting in the reporting streams for the new event codes and related adjustment codes pertaining to parental and paternity leave, the regulations for which were amended by Legislative Decree No. 105/2022, as specified in Circular No. 122/2022, applicable to the aforementioned events occurring on or after August 13, 2022.


The new codes will be mandatory starting with the April 2023 reporting period.


For events that have already been reported using event and adjustment codes currently in use and that fall within the reporting period of August 13, 2022, through March 31, 2023, a subsequent notice will outline the procedures for data transmission between employers and INPS to collect the information necessary to enable the relevant monitoring.
