The promotion of employment in the Law Decree n.60/24

Decree-Law No. 60 of May 7, 2024, published in Gazzetta Ufficiale No. 105/2024 on May 7, and effective from the following day, has introduced important urgent provisions regarding cohesion policies. The measure aims to implement the reform of cohesion policy included in the revision of the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), in order to strengthen the implementation of interventions aimed at reducing territorial disparities and promoting new businesses, self-employment, professional activities, investing in Southern Italy in order to increase good employment through:

• More stable employment contracts

• More young workers and women in the world of work

• More opportunities for disadvantaged workers.

We would like to point out that the effectiveness of the provisions is subject to authorization by the European Commission and that, for the full operation of the measures, it is necessary to await the issuance of the ministerial decrees referred to in the individual rules, as well as the operating News from INPS.

However, the contribution benefits are recognized within the expenditure limits identified in Decree No. 60/24 (the so-called “Cohesion Decree”), which we have attached to this News.
