End of the Extension for Subsidized Remote Work

News Flash No. 13/2024
March 31 marks the deadline set by Conversion Law No. 191/2023 of Decree-Law No. 145/2023 (the so-called “Advance Payments” Decree), by which private-sector workers who are parents of children under 14 and vulnerable workers are guaranteed the right to work remotely.
In order to work under an agile work arrangement starting April 1, 2024, an individual agreement must be entered into between the employer and the employee, as the provisions of Law No. 81 of 2017 will once again come into full effect.
