End of extension for subsidized remote working

March 31 marks the deadline set by Conversion Law No. 191/2023 of Decree-Law No. 145/2023 (the so-called "Advance Payments" Decree), which guarantees the right to work remotely for private sector employees who are parents of children under the age of 14 and vulnerable workers.
In order to work remotely from April 1, 2024, it will be necessary to enter into an individual agreement between employer and employee, with the rules set out in Law No. 81 of 2017 returning to full force.
