Expiration of the Facilitated Smart Working Extension

March 31st marks the deadline set by Conversion Law No. 191/2023 of Decree-Law No. 145/2023 (known as the 'Anticipi' Decree), by which the right to agile working arrangements was guaranteed for private sector employees who are parents of children under 14 years of age and for vulnerable workers.

To work in agile mode from April 1, 2024, it will be necessary to stipulate an individual agreement between the employer and the employee, with the rules established by Law No. 81 of 2017 returning to full effect.
