End of extension of facilitated Smart Working

The deadline set by Law No. 191/2023, which converted Decree-Law No. 145/2023 (the so-called “Anticipi” Decree), expires on March 31. This law guaranteed the right to work remotely for private sector employees who are parents of children under 14 years of age and for vulnerable workers.
In order to work remotely from April 1, 2024, it will be necessary to stipulate an individual agreement between the employer and the employee, thus fully restoring the rules provided for by Law No. 81 of 2017.
