Inps clarifications on the marriage leave allowance for workers in the industrial and artisan sectors

The INPS (National Social Security Institute), with the publication of message no. 2951/2023, has provided clarifications regarding the allowance for marriage leave due to workers classified as laborers in the industrial and artisan sectors (see Article 49, Law No. 88/89).
In this regard, the Institute reminds that for workers in the aforementioned sectors, a period of marriage leave lasting eight consecutive days is provided, with the payment of an allowance, at the expense of the Institute, equal to seven days of salary.
