2025 Mothers' Bonus and Important News About Blood Donation

As for the first major update, the INPS issued, via Circular No. 139 of October 28, 20 News , the instructions for accessing the new 2025 Mothers’ Bonus.

Please note that this bonus is an income supplement reserved for working mothers with two or more children, introduced by Decree-Law No. 95 of June 30, 2025 (the so-called “Omnibus Decree”), which was converted, with amendments, by Law No. 118 of August 8, 2025.

The new 2025 Mothers' Bonus consists of a payment of 40 euros per month for each full or partial month of eligibility:

· an employment relationship, whether in the public or private sector, excluding domestic work;

who have two children (including adopted children or children in pre-adoption foster care) until the month in which the second child turns ten, and whose annual income from employment does not exceed 40,000 thousand euros.

and:

· enrollment of self-employed working mothers in mandatory social security schemes for the self-employed, including the occupational pension funds referred to in Legislative Decree No. 509 of June 30, 1994, and Legislative Decree No. 103 of February 10, 1996, and the separate scheme referred to in Article 2, paragraph 26, of Law No. 335 of August 8, 1995,

who have two or more children and until the youngest child reaches the age of 18, for each month or fraction of a month that the employment relationship or self-employment continues, provided that their employment income does not exceed 40,000 euros annually, on the condition that such income does not derive from permanent employment and, in any case, for each month or fraction of a month during which the employment relationship or self-employment activity is in effect, provided that such period does not coincide with the period of a permanent employment relationship.
