Mothers' Bonus 2025 and Important Update on Blood Donation

Regarding the first significant development, INPS issued, with News No. 139 of October 28, 2025, the instructions for accessing the new Mothers' Bonus 2025.

It should be noted that this Bonus is an income supplement reserved for working mothers with two or more children, introduced by Legislative Decree No. 95 of June 30, 2025 (known as the "Omnibus Decree"), converted, with amendments, by Law No. 118 of August 8, 2025.

The new Mothers' Bonus 2025 consists of the disbursement of an amount equal to 40 euros per month for each month or fraction of a month of validity:

·      of a subordinate employment relationship, public or private, excluding domestic employment;

who have two children (including adopted children or those in pre-adoptive foster care) and up to the month in which the second child reaches ten years of age, and who possess an annual employment income not exceeding 40,000 euros.

and:

·      of self-employed working mothers' enrollment in mandatory autonomous social security schemes, including professional pension funds as per Legislative Decree No. 509 of June 30, 1994, and Legislative Decree No. 103 of February 10, 1996, and the separate management scheme as per Article 2, paragraph 26, of Law No. 335 of August 8, 1995,

who have two or more children and up to the eighteenth birthday of the youngest child, for each month or fraction of a month of validity of the employment relationship or self-employment activity, possessing an annual employment income not exceeding 40,000 euros, provided that the employment income does not derive from indefinite-term dependent employment and, in any case, for each month or fraction of a month of validity of the employment relationship or self-employment activity not coinciding with those of an indefinite-term employment relationship.
