News Flash No. 09/2026

The online form for submitting the Report on the Status of Male and Female Employees for the 2024–2025 period is available on the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.

The report must be prepared and submitted no later than April 30, 2026, in accordance with the guidelines for completion set forth in the Decree of June 3, 2024, adopted by the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, in consultation with the Minister for Family, Birth Rates, and Equal Opportunities.

We would like to remind our valued customers that completing the above form is required for companies, both public and private, with more than 50 employees as of December 31 of the last year of the two-year reference period; however, it remains optional for companies with fewer employees, who may still wish to submit the form regarding the two-year report on equal opportunities, for example in order to participate in public tenders or contracts for which funds from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) or the PNC (National Complementary Plan) are used.

The submitted report and the corresponding receipt must be delivered to the company union representatives (RSA/RSU). If there are no RSA/RSU representatives in the company, the report must be submitted to the local offices of the most representative trade unions in the sector.

Please note that failure by obligated companies to submit the report (even after receiving a request for compliance from the local Labor Inspectorate) will result in the application of the penalties provided for in Article 11 of Presidential Decree No. 520 of March 19, 1955 (an administrative penalty ranging from €103.29 to €516.46, when no other penalties are provided for such non-compliance under other laws).

If the noncompliance continues for more than 12 months, any contribution benefits enjoyed by the company will be suspended for one year.

All reports submitted will be verified by the National Labor Inspectorate, and in the event of false or incomplete reports, an administrative fine ranging from €1,000.00 to €5,000.00 will be imposed.
