Online application is now active for contribution relief for private sector employers holding the 2023 Gender Equality Certification.

The Inps portal has been updated with the release of the new online application form "SGRAVIO PAR_GEN_2023", useful for sending requests to benefit from the contribution exemption (in favor of private employers) in case of achievement, by December 31, 2023, of the certification of gender equality referred to in Article 46-bis of Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 (Code of equal opportunities between men and women).

This measure entails exemption from the payment of 1% of employer social security contributions, up to a maximum limit of 50,000 euros per year.

For this concession, the spending limit set at 50 million euros per year remains firm. 

Applications can be submitted electronically until April 30, 2024, but it should be noted that, for the purposes of eligibility for the exemption, the date of issue of the certification will be considered, which in no case may be later than December 31, 2023.

The actual use of the exemption measure for employers who submit applications by April 30, 2024, may only take place after the cumulative processing of the transmitted applications and the preventive checks by Inps, regarding the possession of the legitimizing requirements, by the interested parties.
