Online Request Activated for Contributory Exemption for Private Employers Holding the 2023 Gender Equality Certification.

The INPS portal has been updated with the release of the new online application form "SGRAVIO PAR_GEN_2023", which facilitates the submission of requests for the contribution exemption (in favor of private employers) upon obtaining, by December 31, 2023, the gender equality certification referred to in Article 46-bis of Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 (Code of Equal Opportunities between Men and Women).

This measure entails an exemption from paying 1% of employer social security contributions, up to a maximum limit of 50,000 euros annually.

For this incentive, the spending limit remains fixed at 50 million euros annually. 

Applications can be submitted electronically until April 30, 2024, but it must be specified that, for the purpose of eligibility for the exemption, the certification issuance date will be authoritative, which in no case may be later than December 31, 2023.

The effective utilization of the exemption measure for employers who submit applications by April 30, 2024, will only occur following the cumulative processing of submitted applications and INPS's preliminary verifications regarding the possession of qualifying requirements by the interested parties.
