Approval of a Social Security Contribution Exemption Based on Certification of Gender Equality Between Men and Women

Subject: Procedure for Employers Holding Gender Equality Certification to Apply for a Contribution Exemption


Starting on December 27, 2022, through February 15, 2023 , online applications will be accepted for exemption from the employer’s share of social security contributions for employers who hold certification of gender equality between men and women, obtained by December 31, 2022.

The employers eligible for the benefit, the structure and scope of the exemption, the allocated resources, the conditions for eligibility, coordination with other incentives, and the procedure for applying for the benefit are specified in INPS News No. 137 of December 27, 2022.


Procedure for Eligibility for Benefits and Employers’ Obligations


To qualify for the exemption in question, private-sector employers who hold a gender equality certification obtained by December 31, 2022—through their legal representative or a delegate—may submit a specific online application to INPS, using exclusively the application form online PAR_GEN,” specifically prepared by the Institute on its website www.inps.it, in the section titled “Subsidies Portal (formerly DiResCo).”

It is understood that, for the purposes of eligibility for the exemption, employers must hold a gender equality certification obtained by December 31, 2022.
