Renewal of the national collective labor agreement for employees of building owners

The Agreement for the renewal of the National Collective Labor Agreement for employees of building owners, signed by Confedilizia, has been signed.
Several contractual aspects are affected by the renewal: from the salary increase to the improvement of service and sickness allowances.
In short, the following was agreed:
the payment of 50 euros gross per month on the combined salary of workers classified in profiles A3/A4 (caretakers with cleaning duties, the former without accommodation, the latter with accommodation) with effect from: 25 euros from 1 January 2020 and a further 25 euros from 1 January 2021; for the other professional figures governed by the Contract, the increases in the combined salary will be proportionally adjusted in percentage terms with respect to the above;
the payment of a further 5 euros gross per month on the combined salary of workers classified in profiles A3/A4 with effect from 1 January 2022, on condition that the Social Parties do not foresee an increase of the same amount to be allocated to the financing of supplementary healthcare benefits for the families of workers;
