Renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees of Building Owners

The agreement to renew the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees of building owners, signed by Confedilizia, has been finalized.
Several contractual aspects are affected by the renewal: from a pay raise to improvements in service and sick leave benefits.
In short, the following was agreed upon:
a monthly gross payment of 50 euros added to the lump-sum wage of workers classified under profiles A3/A4 (janitors and cleaning staff—the former without housing, the latter with housing)—effective as follows: 25 euros as of January 1, 2020, and an additional 25 euros as of January 1, 2021; for other professional roles covered by the Agreement, increases to the combined salary will be adjusted proportionally based on the amounts indicated above;
the payment of an additional 5 euros gross per month on the lump-sum salary of workers classified in the A3/A4 categories, effective January 1, 2022, provided that the social partners do not provide for an increase of the same amount to be used to fund supplemental health care benefits for the workers’ family members;
