On February 16, the social partners signed a draft agreement to renew the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Professional Firms, which includes numerous changes—from the revision of pay scales and the payment of a one-time bonus to details regarding employee benefits, bilateral cooperation, the right to education, the right to occupational safety, and more.
The Collective Bargaining Agreement for Professional Firms applies to all professional activities—including those carried out by associations—within both regulated and unregulated professions, as well as to organizations that provide services that are instrumental and/or functional to such activities.
The professional areas of interest are as follows:
a) Administrative Department
b) Legal Department
c) Technical Department
d) Medical, Healthcare, and Dental Services
e) Intellectual and professional consulting activities, with or without professional registration.
The signatories to this Collective Bargaining Agreement, which is being renewed, are: Confprofessioni, representing the employers, and Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl, and Uiltucs, representing the workers.
The pay increases have been divided into four installments, beginning on March 1, 2024, and continuing through December 1, 2026. The new minimum pay scales are as follows:
