News Flash No. 29/2025

Last Saturday, November 22, an agreement was signed to renew the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), which covers the four-year period 2025–28, for companies and workers in the metalworking sector, with Federmeccanica-Assistal as the signatory party. This Collective Bargaining Agreement—which, as a reminder, had expired in June 2024 and had previously been subject only to interim renewal agreements—now applies to this sector.

The monthly increase approved, at the average level (C3, formerly Level 5), is 205.32 euros; the first installment of 27.70 euros was already paid on June 1, 2025, and will be followed by subsequent installments over the next few years:

  • Average level C3: an increase of 53.17 euros effective June 1, 2026;

    59.58 euros as of June 1, 2027;

    as well as 64.87 euros starting June 1, 2028.

We will announce the new pay scales as soon as they are published.

Flexible benefits will increase from 200 euros to 250 euros, to be paid by February 2026.

  • New protections are planned for people with cancer and people with disabilities;

  • The work hours for staff working the 21 shifts are reduced by 8 hours;
