Renewal of the Federmeccanica-Confindustria National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Manufacturing Industry

Last Saturday, November 22, an agreement was signed to renew the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), which covers the four-year period from 2025 to 2028, for companies and workers in the metalworking sector, with Federmeccanica-Assistal as the signatory party. This Collective Bargaining Agreement applies to them; we note that it had expired in June 2024 and had previously been subject only to contractual renewal agreements.

The monthly increase, at the average level (C3, formerly Level 5), is €205.32. The first installment of €27.70 was already paid on June 1, 2025, and will be followed by subsequent installments over the next few years:

  • Average level C3: an increase of €53.17 effective June 1, 2026;

    €59.58 as of June 1, 2027;

    as well as €64.87 starting on June 1, 2028.

 

We will announce the new pay scales as soon as they are published.

 

Flexible benefits will increase from €200 to €250, to be paid out by February 2026.


In addition to wage increases, the new contract includes significant improvements to the regulatory provisions, specifically:

  • New protections are planned for people with cancer and disabilities;

  • The workweek for staff working the 21 shifts is reduced by 8 hours;
