Renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Mechanical Engineering Industry, Confindustria

On Saturday, November 22, an agreement was signed to renew the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), which covers the four-year period 2025-28, for companies and workers in the metalworking sector, signed by Federmeccanica-Assistal, and to which this Collective Bargaining Agreement applies. We would like to remind you that this agreement expired in June 2024 and had only been the subject of contract renewal agreements.
The monthly increase decided upon, at the average level (C3 ex 5th level), is €205.32, of which the first installment of €27.70 was already paid on June 1, 2025, and which will be followed by subsequent installments over the coming years:
Average level C3 increase of €53.17 from June 1, 2026;
€59.58 from June 1, 2027;
as well as €64.87 from June 1, 2028.
We will communicate the new salary tables as soon as they are published.
Flexible benefits increase from €200 to €250, to be paid by February 2026.
In addition to wage increases, the new contract brings significant improvements to the regulatory aspects in detail:
New protections planned for people with cancer and disabilities;
Working hours for staff involved in the 21 shifts are reduced by 8 hours;
