Subject: Access to NASpI unemployment benefit in case of resignation by the father who has taken paternity leave
Following the entry into force, with effect from August 13, 2022, of Legislative Decree No. 105 of June 30, 2022, containing provisions aimed at improving the reconciliation between work and private life for parents and caregivers, INPS (National Social Security Institute) has intervened with its News of March 20, 2023 to provide administrative guidance regarding access to NASpI unemployment benefit, in case of voluntary resignation of the father who has taken paternity leave, as well as up to the child's first birthday.
