News Flash No. 15/2026
With reference to our News Flash No. 29 of November 24, 2025, we would like to note that Federmeccanica, in its Circular No. 5, has provided operational guidelines for the payment of the mandatory employer contribution to the MetApprendo Association, established by the social partners to assist companies in organizing, planning, and recording the mandatory continuing education of workers as required by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking and Industrial Companies sector.
Article 7, Section 4, Title VI of this National Collective Bargaining Agreement provides for the right to training, specifically the provision of at least 24 hours of training for each employee during the term of the contract.
In light of this, the social partners have committed to creating a platform that provides all metalworkers with customized “training services” (e.g., blockchain technology for recording training, design templates, online training modules, etc.), with the aim of helping companies organize training for all workers, making the training process even more accessible, flexible, and above all, cost-effective.
To implement this “Training Services” program, effective January 1, 2026, all companies that apply this National Collective Bargaining Agreement are required to join MetApprendo and to pay, by April 30 of each year, a contribution of €1.50 per year for each employee on the payroll as of December 31 of the previous year.
