Migration from the Provincial SINTESI COB Service to the Regional SIUL-COB

We inform you that a migration of the service for mandatory communications, including UNILAV, UNISOMM, and VARDATORE, is currently in progress. This service will soon be transferred to a new and modern system of the Lombardy Region, designated SIUL-COB.

The new Unitary Labor Information System (acronym: SIUL) has been developed to establish a singular platform that integrates management procedures for active labor policies. Its purpose is to foster innovation in employment services and facilitate the integration of Employment Centers into the regional organizational structure, supported by appropriate informational and IT tools.

The definitive transition to the new system, while mandatory, will be gradual. Consequently, both systems will operate concurrently during the transitional period.

The migration plan from the Provincial SINTESI COB systems to the Regional SIUL-COB system is being executed on a province-by-province basis.

The Metropolitan City of Milan and the Province of Monza and Brianza have announced the impending transition from the SINTESI system to the new SIUL-COB service for mandatory communications, applicable to employers and authorized intermediaries operating within these jurisdictions.

The transitional phase, during which both systems operate concurrently, is already active. However, it is imperative to prepare promptly to ensure the continued submission of mandatory communications for employee hiring, as well as communications pertaining to transformations, terminations, extensions, employer variations, secondments, the commencement of extracurricular internships, the initiation of coordinated collaborations, and all other communications currently processed via the existing SINTESI portal of the Metropolitan City of Milan and the Province of Monza and Brianza, now utilizing the new SIUL-COB portal.

All affected businesses and employers are required to promptly register on the new SIUL-COB portal, as the SINTESI system will no longer be accessible upon the conclusion of the transitional phase.
