News No. 26/2025

The draft agreement for the renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for executives in the Tertiary, Distribution, and Services sectors was initialed on November 5 between Manageritalia and Confcommercio-Imprese per l’Italia and will be in effect for three years, from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.

It will take full effect following approval by the governing bodies of the contracting parties.

The proposed renewal, which comes ahead of the scheduled expiration date of December 31, 2025, introduces significant changes: from increases in minimum wages to provisions related to welfare, parenthood, and active aging.

1) Compensation

A gross monthly pay increase is planned, which, once fully implemented, will total 800 euros, divided into three installments:

  • 320 euros as of January 1, 2026 (thereby raising the minimum monthly contract amount to 4,660.00 euros)

  • 260 euros as of January 1, 2027 (thereby raising the minimum monthly contract amount to 4,920.00 euros)

  • 220 euros as of January 1, 2028 (thereby raising the minimum monthly contractual amount to 5,140.00 euros)

Important! The aforementioned pay increases may not be used to reduce or offset existing individual compensation packages, with the sole exception of amounts paid after July 31, 2025, as a down payment or advance on future contractual increases or expressly granted to ensure the restoration of the purchasing power of wages.

2) Social Security Contribution Relief for the Hiring and Appointment of Executives
