Effective April 1, 2026, a new and additional requirement for companies wishing to take advantage of contribution relief for the hiring of employees.
Pending the issuance of the implementing decree, the key points regarding the new requirement are briefly outlined below:
Pursuant to Article 14(1) of the so-called Occupational Health and Safety Decree (Decree-Law No. 159/2025, converted, with amendments, by Law No. 198/2025), effective April 1, 2026, employers intending to apply for contribution incentives when hiring new employees must publish in advance the job offer on a dedicated portal called SIISL, an acronym for the Information System for Social and Labor Inclusion.
