Subject: Integration of the transitional program for the inflow of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, with regard to seasonal employment
The Prime Ministerial Decree of July 19, 2023, was published in Gazzetta on August 14, 2023. Prime Ministerial Decree of July 19, 2023 relating to theintegration of the transitional program for the entry of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, in relation to seasonal employment.
As also reported on the institutional page of the MLPS, for applications already submitted up to August 14, 2023, an increase of up to 40,000 units is provided for entries relating to the agricultural and hotel tourism sectors. The quotas for supplementary seasonal employment, as provided for in the aforementioned Prime Ministerial Decree, will be allocated in a specific and subsequent circular between the territorial labor inspectorates, the regions, and the autonomous provinces by the Directorate-General for Immigration and Integration Policies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, based on the applications received by the One-Stop Shops for Immigration and the needs at the territorial level.
