Subject: Supplement to the transitional plan for the inflow of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, regarding seasonal employment

With the Official Gazette of Gazzetta dated August 14, 2023, the Prime Ministerial Decree dated July 19, 2023 concerning thesupplement to the transitional plan for the inflow of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, with regard to seasonal employment.

As also reported on the official website of the MLPS, for applications already submitted through August 14, 2023, an increase of up to 40,000 entries is authorized for the agricultural and tourism/hospitality sectors. The supplementary quotas for seasonal employment, as provided for in the aforementioned Prime Ministerial Decree, will be allocated via a specific, subsequent circular from the General Directorate for Immigration and Integration Policies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies to the regional labor inspectorates, the Regions, and the Autonomous Provinces, based on the applications received by the One-Stop Shops for Immigration and local needs.
