Subject: Supplement to the transitional plan for the admission of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, regarding seasonal employment

Gazzetta Prime Ministerial Decree of July 19, 2023 concerning thesupplementing the transitional plan for the inflow of non-EU workers into the country for the year 2022, with regard to seasonal employment.

As also noted on the official website of the MLPS, for applications already submitted through August 14, 2023, an increase of up to 40,000 entries is authorized for the agricultural and tourism/hospitality sectors. The supplementary quotas for seasonal employment, as provided for in the aforementioned Prime Ministerial Decree, will be allocated in a specific, subsequent circular among the regional labor inspectorates, the Regions, and the autonomous Provinces by the Directorate General for Immigration and Integration Policies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, based on the applications received by the One-Stop Shops for Immigration and local needs.
