On December 12, 2022, Confcommercio – Imprese per l’Italia, Filcams – Cigil, Fisascat – Cisl, and Uiltucs signed an Extraordinary Sectoral Protocol (see Attachment) in response to the economic and social impact already suffered in 2020, with the stated aim of “develop an economic response to the needs of workers in the sector to help maintain their purchasing power.”
Negotiations for the renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement, as announced by the signatory parties, will continue uninterrupted throughout the coming year.
Special Industry Protocol
The signed document provides for the payment, to workers in the sector, of a lump-sum amount one-time payment as well as an advance payment on future contractual raises.
Payment one-time payment
The Protocol provides as follows:
a) Only to employees on the payroll as of the date of signing the Protocol that is the subject of this notice, a one-time gross payment of 350.00 euros at Level IV will be made, a) scaled to the other pay grades and paid in accordance with the procedures set forth in sections 3 and 4 of the Protocol (see below);
