On June 11, 2024, the social parties: Federmeccanica, Assistal, and Fim, Fiom, and Uilm, signed a memorandum of understanding that supplements the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, in order to adjust the minimum wage scales by level, effective from June 1, 2024, as a result of the officialization of the percentage value of the IPCA-NEI index (net of energy) recorded for 2023.
The officialized IPCA-NEI index is equal to 6.9%, therefore, the adjustment of the minimum contractual wages expected with the disbursement of this tranche, effective June 1, 2024, will be equal to €137.52 for level C3 (formerly fifth level).
Below are the new minimum wage scales effective from June 1, 2024:
The aforementioned new minimum wage scale amounts per level replace, from June 1, 2024, and for all purposes, the minimum wage scale amounts from June 1, 2024, provided in the table in the text of the CCNL of February 5, 2021.
