National Collective Labor Agreement for Metalworkers – new minimum wages

On June 11, 2024, the social partners: Federmeccanica, Assistal, Fim, Fiom, and Uilm signed a memorandum of understanding that supplements the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking Industry, in order to adjust the minimum wage scales by level, effective from June 1, 2024, following the official announcement of the percentage value of the IPCA-NEI index (net of major energy costs) calculated for 2023.
The official IPCA-NEI index is 6.9%, therefore the adjustment of the minimum contractual amounts provided for with the payment of this tranche, effective June 1, 2024, will be €137.52 for level C3 (formerly level five).
Below are the new minimum wage rates effective from June 1, 2024:

The above new minimum wage amounts per level replace, as of June 1, 2024, and for all intents and purposes, the minimum wage amounts as of June 1, 2024, set out in the Table referred to in the text of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement of February 5, 2021.
