2022 Transportation Bonus

The Transportation Bonus is a measure introduced by the government to provide income support and combat potential impoverishment; it was established by the Aid Decree (Art. 35, Decree-Law No. 50 of May 17, 2022) and converted, with amendments, into Law No. 91 of July 15, 2022.
The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility, also serves as an incentive to promote sustainable mobility and provides tangible assistance to workers and students.
This bonus is available to individuals who earned a total annual income of no more than 35,000 euros in 2021, and is provided in the form of a “voucher” that can be used to purchase annual or monthly passes for local, regional, and interregional public transportation services or for national rail services.
