Updates on the 2024 Christmas Bonus

News Flash No. 33/2024


On November 14, Decree-Law No. 167 was published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale, containing "urgent measures for the reopening of the terms for joining the two-year preventive agreement and the extension of benefits for employees, as well as urgent financial provisions for the management of emergencies".


The noteworthy development, which we would like to bring to your attention, specifically concerns the amendments made to the legal provision that introduced the so-called "Christmas Bonus", an indemnity measure for public and private employees who meet the requirements established by law for access.
